What is your data transfer rate set to: connection settings -> high speed broadband. Given your sync speed this should be 4000 -> 4500.

Are you connected via wireless or wired. If wireless, do you get similar speeds if you connect via a wired connection.

Also do you mean 150 Kbits/s or 150 KBytes/s?

What are you using to measure the speed.

Do a BT speedtest when things appear to be fast and when they are slow and post the results.

When i download something from download.com for example and the download box comes up it says: 150KB/s for peak time and 45KB/s off peak thats wot i am goin by. I used to get about 250KB/s so i am assuming thats kilobytes??

Isn't the downstream connection speed to sync speed? because i am using a wireless router so i dont get those sync arrows so i cant chek there in my taskbar.

Loys of things can affect your speeds so I'll ask again...

What is your data transfer rate set to: connection settings -> high speed broadband. Given your sync speed this should be 4000 -> 4500.

A wireless connection can affect throughput speeds even though ot runs at 54Mbs. What speed do you get if you connect wired.

What does the BT speedtester say your speed is? Also try some of the other speed test sites like thinkbroadband and report what you get.

It is on this website on the left menu under My Account.

If that says 2000 raise a ticket and get it corrected, it needs to be 4000 -> 4500 for your sync rate.

No idea, I don't work for PlusNet.

It may not be investigated until Monday/Tuesday I would guess unless one of the comms guys monitoring this forum can do something sooner.

I can see one of my colleagues made some changes to your account yesterday afternoon.

After rebooting your router you should start to see an increase in your speeds.

If this is not the case, don't hesitate to let us know.
