Does Voyager 105 have a log?

I have selected in properties for my 105 Voager ASDL modem to produce a log but I can't find it (Windows 98SE). Has anyone any idea where it might be/what it is called?

Thanks,

Barry

Does Voyager 105 have a log?

Yes and no.

It doesn't have anything special in its own programme, but if you have that option ticked in the properties bit of dial-up networking, it's recorded in Windows.

In Windows ME, it's C:\WINDOWS\ppplog.txt - hopefully that's the same in 98SE.

(Edit)
You need to disconnect to view it, otherwise it tells you to go away 'cos it's in use by another programme.

Many thanks, Gordon. Oddly my computer has got that file but its only entries are dated 2002 and I assume it's for an old modem.

How strange! Mine goes back a few years too, then stops from when I changed to ISDN (that had its own log file), then starts again from when I changed to broadband with the Voyager 105.

Oh well - one of Uncle Bill's little quirks, I suppose. :?
