Did you know that you cannot transfer your referrals?

I recently moved house after being with PlusNet for 3 years and built up a healthy refferals discount. Now because I use my connection for remote access for work I didn't want any downtime so I tried to add an ADSL connection to my new house.

The PlusNet system won't let you have more that one ADSL line against an account so I had to create a new user account. But when I then cancelled the old account and told them I'd moved, they said that they couldn't honour the referrals, despite having the same payment details etc. Bit of a kick in the teeth after telling everyone about PlusNet and how good they were.

I thought you could get referals paid now even if you no longer had a plusnet account.

News to me, the ever so helpful tech support said you loose them - tough luck.

If any one at PlusNet would care to let me know either way I'd appreciate it.

You can keep your referrals by keeping the free dial up connection I understand Cool-- mind you it might be an idea to raise this with a member of the comms team because of the particular circumstances of a move that involves an account change
