There are a couple of dips around 9pm (when I noticed a slow down for a few mins - I rebooted my router in case it was at fault but made no difference), and again from 10pm onwards but this may just be normal.

The dip could possibly add up to 1 pipes worth of drop (155Mb) so something may have happened. Let's see if anyone from CS responds.

Just found this post - looks like the anwser for my problem.

I did reboot the router - still nothing. waited about 30mins Rebooted - nothing. Forgot about and when to bed,

When trying this morning - still nothing. This time I'll try restarting the ADSL part remotely via the web interface. Thats were I noticed that my IP started with 81.152.x.x - Normally this is 212.159.X.X SO before restarting the ADSL part I ran the routers diag feature, while running this the diag reported IP was the 212,159.x.x . It Passed all tests. Then on returning to the main router info screen my IP was now the 212.159x.x one. And Internet was working!

Strange?

Edit: Just noticed that my line lose is now 49dB, for the last 2 years it has been 47dB and stable. Not in bad weather has it changed. BT swapping pairs to get new lines to work?

For a Sunday night at those times those drops in bandwidth aren't right, usually at those times it's the peek use that are on the increase but a visable drop about 4 times over a few hours something was wrong but what?

The recent announcement indicates there was a problem last night and some stale sessions may exist (which will explain morrisinc's issue) - I have one local report of this as well.

Nope, not according to the graph. It was very obvious last time with a dip in the level but nothing is showing up that I can see.
