Dial backup while waiting for ADSL activation at new house ?

Hi,

I've just moved house and have changed my details with Plus.Net.

It takes a few days for the new line to go active for ADSL but I seem to remember that when you become a broadband customer, you also get access to a dial-up (56k) facility.

Is this true ? and whats the number for the dial-up ?
I'm assuming I can use my broadband user / pass details for server validation??

Thanks
Garry

Hi Garry and welcome to the forums

You have access to the dial up facility anytime and you might find it useful to create a dial up account as a backup for anytime that you may have problems with your ADSL connection

there`s nothing worse than not being able to get online at all and even if you never have to use it its there just in case

not that

not that i reccomend this but why not get aol dial up free for a month then cancel it after your plus net bb account is activated [i hate paying anything and 0845 cost money ]as it will only be for a week-2 then you save money [i know aohell aint good but its free Cheesy
