DSL Up speeds limited too 256-288

When is BT likely too have the hardware in place too allow faster upload speeds, I know it's down too them that UK is limited too maximum of 288 up.

As I would rather have a faster upload speed than a faster download, so I could host UT CS DoD servers for local friends. As it is, my DSL with 288 up can host 6 people maximum and that includes me in the server.

So anyone got a crystal ball with this info?

All I can say is I miss the cable I had in Canada. No speed limits whatsoever up or dowm, relgulary saw 200Kb/sec downloads instead of this shitty 60KB/sec max, better ping, hardly any congestion regardless of day/night and really was always on, none of this dialup stuff, with unlimited traffic, no D/L or U/L limits. All for $49 month, $29 installation and no contracts. All I had to do was give them a $200 credit card imprint to cover modem if I took off with it. In 7 months, service was down twice, less than 2 hours each time.

now that's a deal. Why did the UK miss outHuh?

by the way...1 pound = Can$2.34

You work it out:-)
