DNS issue

This is a problem that I have raised a ticket for, but so far I have not had a response, so maybe someone here can help.

I can browse the net for a short period of time, but i sometimes find that the PC will no longer resolve domain names.

I have set the PC to use the following DNS servers:
212.159.13.49 & 212.159.13.50

The strange thing is that when this happens I can still do nslookups from the command line and this returns the correct addresses for any site. Even though NSlookup works I can not ping any domain name , but I can ping the IP address.

I really can't see what is wrong - please help.

What connection hardware are you using?

Perform a "ipconfig /all" and see what DNS servers are assigned to your computer.

Sometimes routers will act as a DNS relay, rather than pass you the DNS servers directly. When this happens, some router relays are know to cause problems.

Have you tried specifying the DNS servers manualy in your settings?
