DNS Updates

Hi

I have just changed some of my Domains to new hosts (well 4 days ago) and they have still no changed over. Am I right in saying that this should only take 48 hours?? Is there anything on a local level that could cause this problem, i have cleared my internet files and restarted my router to no avail

Regards
Aaron

DNS Updates

Are you sure all the changes were made correctly?

What changes did you make so others can check as well?

Most DNS changes propogate within 24 hours but sometimes it takes longer.

DNS Updates

All 4 plusnet DNS servers show the new IP:

C:\Documents and Settings\Peter>nslookup atliberty.co.uk 212.159.6.9

Server: ptn-cdns01.plus.net
Address: 212.159.6.9

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: atliberty.co.uk
Address: 212.115.42.58

C:\Documents and Settings\Peter>nslookup atliberty.co.uk 212.159.6.10
Server: ptn-cdns02.plus.net
Address: 212.159.6.10

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: atliberty.co.uk
Address: 212.115.42.58

C:\Documents and Settings\Peter>nslookup atliberty.co.uk 212.159.13.49
Server: pth-cdns01.plus.net
Address: 212.159.13.49

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: atliberty.co.uk
Address: 212.115.42.58

C:\Documents and Settings\Peter>nslookup atliberty.co.uk 212.159.13.50
Server: pth-cdns02.plus.net
Address: 212.159.13.50

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: atliberty.co.uk
Address: 212.115.42.58

And the DNS servers for the domain are set correctly:

1	atliberty.co.uk	ALL	Query sent to	212.159.6.9

1 atliberty.co.uk SOA 86400 ns1.wehostyou.co.uk support.wehostyou.co.uk 2004111001 10800 3600 604800 86400
1 atliberty.co.uk A 86400 212.115.42.58
1 atliberty.co.uk MX 86400 mail.wehostyou.co.uk 10
1 atliberty.co.uk NS 86400 ns1.wehostyou.co.uk
1 atliberty.co.uk NS 86400 ns2.wehostyou.co.uk
1 atliberty.co.uk NS 86400 ns1.wehostyou.co.uk
1 atliberty.co.uk NS 86400 ns2.wehostyou.co.uk
1 Lookup complete

And Domain Dossier also finds it.
