Continuous Download

For no apparent reason, that I can think of, I am receiving data continuously, I have one light on on the Conextant Access Runner all the time, and so far today it is telling me I have downloaded about 300Mb and sent about 1Mb.
I have Zone Alarm and Norton anti-virus installed. I have checked all the settings but can find nothing that is requesting data of that size.
I cannot find any large files that have been downloaded and Ethereal is not reporting a connection with anyone.

Can anybody help please

Thank You

RE: Continuous Download

Denial of service attack?
someone nuking your IP number.

Nah just guessing.. but turn of Universal Plus N Play with you have Win XP. I did.
I read if someone gets your IP number and knows you have XP they can send Denial of servive attacks at port 5000 which it uses, and you don't need it running anyway.

See http://grc.com for program to shut it off.
"Unplug n pray"

Sorry i don't know anything about routers.
