Connection Problems

Since last night I've had connection problems which I can't get to the bottom of. All was well Wednesday but as of last night, although I have a valid broadband connection, I'm getting no traffic (and, hence, nothing is working).

Nothing has changed since then, although (for the 1st time) I've noticed that my connection speed has been increased. This might be a red herring though.

I'm using a Netgear wireless router (which has been repowered since the problems started) and have one PC connected wirelessly and other wired. Both communicate with each other fine. The router status screens show a connection.

Anybody have any thoughts on what the problem is (or at least what I can try)?

Connection Problems

Could have been caused by DNS troubles PN had, but that's been fixed now. There were also other problems announced. I'd suggest you reset your router first, then if that doesn't work, call PN's support.

Connection Problems

Try disconnecting the router cable from the BT socket for 10 seconds then reconnect, this resets your connection to Plusnet and will probably put you on another pipe too.
