Am managing to establish ADSL connection only when my telephone is dial tone active or in use. I can surf ad infinitum as long as the wirless telephone handset is active; when I switch off ADSL connection is lost.
I am PC illiterate and am paying someone to install. The line I'm using in my office is the extension of the BT ground floor line. Is there likely to account for this problem ? Or am I barking down the wrong phone line?
If it is the fact that your line will only work on ADSL when it is also active on a call, it is likely that BT have not installed your ADSL connection correctly on the line. Raise a contact us ticket and our support staff will inform BT of the problem?
