Can't connect with ADSL Modem

Hello,

I have recently purchased a Zoom adsl USB Modem (5510-B).

Now my line is activated by a BT engineer I tried connecting with the modem using the BT test user/pass data and it keeps giving me a "No Dial Tone" error.


Everything is plugged in correctly as far as I know.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Can't connect with ADSL Modem

Plug the modem directly into the BT master socket with no filter. If you cant do that remove all filters and try again.

I dont see why you are trying BT and not Plus Net?

If all else fails try and get another modem or router and see if the line is ok with that as it may be a faulty modem.
