Hmmm, I think it *may* have. Mine appears to be stuck on the 'Payment is currently being processed for your ADSL activation' stage (before the 'BT will activate your line' stage).

Strange, because I've been told that my details have already been sent to BT (at around midday, some four hours ago now).

Mines still working but stuck on itial line checks which its doing for the second time due to BT problems.

I dont think were gonna have a nice 5-7day and be Online, well not for us unlucky guys. Just remember its all BTs Fault Wink

Think ill keep my NTLworld account for another month, im sure Plusnet/BT will get ADSL to me within 4 weeks!

Its looking good for me i got a email from Plusnet saying" Dear Customer,

The latest data we have from BT, states that the work on the line will be completed tomorrow (4/9/02), we should receive confirmation from them tomorrow or the day after. Your account will become active as soon as we receive confirmation.

I can confirm that you do indeed have an order in the system that is currently being processed by BT. As soon as we have confirmation of your line activation, you will be informed.

We are not aware of any issues relating to the ADSL tracker, though we will carry out testing to establish of there are any issues that need addressing.

Hey m8 how did it go did u get any further with ADSL?

My lines currently being activated, so initial checks have passed!

Might even be online in a week or 2Wink

Cannot wait, 8 years of 56k Dialup with 2 hour disconnections.....

i have had some responece from plusnet saying today or tommorow they will get in touch with me as engineers will be doing work on my exchange woohoo i am waiting to hear from them
but it BT that are slow not plusnet
