Hi I am wondering if there are data transfer limits on your business plans,
as some months I use 30GB and may use that for three consecutive months

Also would I get the rerferral discount transfered if I was to switch plans

Hi there,

The only data transfer restrictions on Plus net are for web traffic.

If you are referring to the recent Bad boy pipe issue then 30gb per month is well within the guidelines applied by Plus Net.

IIRC the minimum usage for inclusion in the traffic shaping measures was 140gb pm with 600gb being the maximum.

I would be confident that you dont come close to that.

With regard referrals. They will continue to be applied to your account irrespective of which subscription account you are on.

Best regards

Mark

Unless I have missed somrthing I'm not sure where you are getting the 28 GB figure from.

As I said, under current guidlines you are well within the limits.

Best regards

There is no specificed download limit, however some extremely heavy users were placed on a special managed platform (known by various users as the "Bad Boy" pipe) which operated on a higher contention ratio than the rest of the Broadband Platform. This was to protect the network resources for the vast majority (99.7% was the figure) of PlusNet's ADSL userbase.

The people placed on the managed platform, tended to be using around 140GB a month up to about 600Gb a month, which is a a crazy amount of data. Usage of 35GB a month is nothing to worry about Smiley.

I hope that helps,
