Hmm, just had a flick through the online manual and there doesn't seem to be any mention of line stats, etc. - which is odd because it seems like a very feature-packed router.

For line statistics, such as the attenuation and SNR figures, you can raise a link:contact us ticket and ask them to perform a "whoosh test". This will give you the figures you're after.

I did this, and it is useful information to have. Remember though that you will lose synch briefly when the test is performed Smiley.

Thanks for your replies guys, it is very strange that this router does not display any line statistics yes, not even your line speed or dsl connect time!

I have tried to ask plusnet support for a whoosh test on 2 seperate occaisons but both have been returned we will only do this test for you if you have a fault which is kind of a bummer. Guess im stuck to a no line stat router, which is s shame considering its spec and price tag. Cry

There is a hidden menu the part of which you require, line stats can be accessed after you are logged in.

Login to the router and then go to the following
(assuming http://192.168.2.1/ is the address of your router)

Line Stats (including dB and SNR readings)
http://192.168.2.1/ADSL_status_main.stm

WAN
http://192.168.2.1/atmint.stm/3

NAT

Firewall

ADSL

DDNS

No idea why Belkin don't link to these in their own firmware!

Some of them are very useful...

Lne should be fine for 1Mbs but it can't support 2Mbs due to 53dB attenuation (this needs to be below 45dB or 43dB for 2Mb)

Seconded! There's a load of useful stuff there... why Belkin can't include at least one link to it all somewhere I do not know!
