BTs IPstream To Datastream Migration almost here

Hmm well nearly there. Now a question if I upgrade to 20:1 for a 256/512 connection, is the dB requirement the same as 50:1 ie max 55dB as mine is just with in. I know I cant get 1mbit or better but for future if contention kicks in, need the info if I plan on a quick upgrade to 20:1

Simalar.

The contention is not affected what so ever on the distance.

Contention takes place after terminating at the exchange, and dictates how many users share a pipe from the excahnge onwards.

The technology is find regarding allow people to switch between the two contentions. However, if BT are allowing RADSL customers (or at least cutomers seeing it applied to there line) to merge up, is somthing to be farther explored.
