BT activation

A BT Engiener removed my HH (ISDN) today and connected to BT openworld from my phone line.

I have contacted Plusnet who insists BT needs to comfirm work was finished before I'm activated.

Is this the case for everyone? and if so:

(a) when do i expect to be activated?

(b) Who do I call at BT to tell Plusnet work is finished?

I have just spoken to BT (someone called Richard) on 08007835373.

Who said Plusnet knows what the procedure is which is to call them and they can confirm the work is finished.

Do I need toescalate this?

Hi there,
Basically, we need a contact us ticket specifying that you want connecting. When we activate you, billing starts, and we can't raise faults until BT contact us to say the work is completed, so while we will happily activate you early, you need to bear this in mind.
