Away from home you can still use adsl speeds

Here is an idea for 1000 of users who cant get ADSL or are away from home. I have just set this up for a company in Warrington who have ADSL. There staff cant get ADSL at home so I setup a Terminal server at the companies office. Users now dial the internet on their 56k modem and then connect via the net to the company Terminal Server, as you know they then get a full screen display of the server and all that is past back via the 56k are screen refreshs at about 18K. When connected they then fire up the internet on the companys TS and of course they are now browsing the net at ADSL speed.

Anyone seeing this wouldnt know it wasnt local while they cant download files any quicker everything else is super fast. TS can be run from a webpage via a ActiveX.

TS is is remote help in XP so if you have XP you can use this

or alternatively you can use an app such as winvnc which lets you connect to your computer from another location and take over similar to netmeeting
