ADSL dropouts?

Is anybody else experiencing ADSL dropouts?
I have had to reconnect 7 times in the last
couple of hours. Service Status says there
are no problems. Is it just me?

RE: ADSL dropouts?

Yeh i have had no problems too,

It usally drops out once every 3 days....

p.s. make sure that OE (outlook express) is not disconnecting as theres an option to allow it to do that, also under most modem/router option there can be an option to disconnect.

RE: ADSL dropouts?

Thanks for the feedback. It is still doing it.
The problem only started today since I logged
on after being away for a week.
I haven't changed anything from what used to be
a trouble-free setup.
John:
I'm in West London - don't know if there are
any weather related problems with BT but the
phone line works fine and isn't noisier than
usual.
mR cUnDaLl:
I don't use Outlook Express (try Opera!) but
I've set Sam Spade to ping the PlusNet host
every minute ... clutching at straws.

Cheers,

John
