ADSL and existing free call/local rate dial up

I was wanting to know if I sign up and get ADSL installed at my home, whether I'll still be able to access the internet using either the free call or local rate connection from my second line based at a different address, 30 miles from my home?

Can anyone tell me whether you can do this. Plus, it would could be usefull as a backup option should the ADSL fail for whatever reason.

Kind regards

Adrian

You will only be able to use the 0845 ****** dial up numbers once you are ADSL enabled.
Which is a shame, but fortunatly I have not often needed to use a back up.

Hi,

The 0845 back up number can be used on any line in the UK and is provided with ADSL and FRIACO accounts that we provide.

0845 conectivity can be used also with any telco so will be compatible with BT and Telewest etc.

Dave.
