ADSL and dial-up

I currently have a free PAYG account but am in the process of migration my Demon ADSL to PlusNet.

My question is, when traveling can I dial-up using the same number as I do now for my PAYG account and would I use the same username and password? Also what about CLI - do I need to register a number, if so how can I do this as I may not know the number in advance?

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks Nick

ADSL and dial-up

You can use the roaming dial up number 0845 1400101 which does not require you to specify a CLI Number

ADSL and dial-up

By specify a CLI number, this means you do not need to insert it on the portal, however, the line you use must present a CLI to PlusNet. This is used as a security and tracking feature.

I would also advise that you signup for your own PAYG account for using dialup.

This is because you are assigned the same static IP address as that provided for your ADSL connection. When you get ADSL from PlusNet, this will mean that either the dialup or the ADSL will work at any one time, though does not always work like that.
