ADSL Down Since Midday

Hi,

My ADSL connection has been down since midday today. I am in South Wales, so the problems in the North are not affecting me.

My router is sync'd with the exchange but, it would seem, I have no connection to plus.net. The results of a diagnostic test are as follows:

Checking LAN Connection 

Testing Ethernet LAN connection : PASS HELP

Checking ADSL Connection
Testing ADSL Synchronization : PASS HELP

Checking Circuit 0 for Network Connection
Test ATM OAM Segment Loop Back : FAIL HELP
Test ATM OAM End-to-End Loop Back : FAIL HELP
Test Ethernet connect to ATM : PASS HELP
Test 1 PPP Layer connection : FAIL HELP
Test 1 IP connect to PPP : SKIPPED HELP

Testing Internet Connection
Ping primary DNS : SKIPPED HELP
Query DNS for www.conexant.com : SKIPPED HELP
Ping www.conexant.com : SKIPPED HELP


Could someone please confirm that this appears to be a problem server-side.

From the looks of it its failling on connection, best to raise a ticket, include the text from your router and follow the trouble shooter on Contact Us and any additional info they need will be obtained.

I did raise a ticket earlier but it hasn't yet been dealt with. Oh well, off to bed now - hopefully it may be sorted by the morning.

This is the first time I've had to revert back to dialup and it's not nice Shocked
