Tested my speed via plusnet speed tester and dslreport.com tweak tester and both have gave me a 100% bill of health. Hope my results may help others.

RWIN too low IMHO
Gives fast local speed but drops significantly on more distant stuff
Take Numion tests

As pcorker says, surfing sites outside UK will be slower. Minium RWIN should be twice what you have for Europe and three times for USA.

I've just tried the site, and I get around 261 for site in America. I followed the sticky for setting the MTU, etc but I don't really want to alter my settings everytime I want to browse in a different country.

Using Plus Net Speed Check I get around 482.

I've tried their speed test and world test.

On the speed test I get 485 and the world test 296. I think my connection is ok.

You don't know when your browsing a different country, even when it says it's a .co.uk site, it could still be hosted in India, or in fact anywhere.

True, but I was going on the result posted from Numion.

Strangly I get better results from their surf check of other countries than I do of the UK.
