I have happily been using the plesk PAYH platform for a few months now and successfully running Joomla CMS. So barring the odd update I have vistited the plesk CP infrequently. Little did I know that plesk was slowly but surely recording log files to my space and low and behold I got a metaphorical knock on the door from plusnet warning me of impending suspension. Now, I still didn't know why. so I looked at my httpdocs folder (using Fetch FTP) and got rid of some gash stuff. Even so, the quantities stated in my warning were way above what was in my httpdocs folder. Anyway, Kev Mawson and his merry men sprung to the rescue and Kev pin pointed what was swallowing up over a Gb of space (I'm only allowed 400Mb). Moral: Check your disk usage from time to time. Get the log files switched off if you don't use them (and empty them) and don't panic! On the plus side of this threat. I did manage to clear out a lot of unnecessary Kb's of left over stuff. If you tidy up the Kb's the Mb's will look after themselves. In theory. Thanks as ever to the PN Team for helping sort out the problem before it turned into a crisis.
