vodafone sure signal

I am having trouble getting a vodafone sure signal device to work with my  netgear dg834g v3 router.  I have tried to set up ports 50, 123, 500 and 4500 as described in the PortForward.com website.  I have also checked my sure signal box by connecting it to a friend's router on which it worked fine.  Any ideas?

I have step by step instructions on microsoft word for setting up vodafone sure signal on the thomson  wireless router. It worked for me when setting my own up. If anyone wants the file email me at wulliefox@sky.com and I'll forward it to you. Just print it off and follow instructions. If I can do it anyone can.
