the 10 day line tests

hi i was away on holiday from the day i switched to plus-net so i wasnt here to knock my modem on and off, infact it was off the whole time i was away which was 2 weeks.
since i have got back i havent been able to achieve more than 2mb at any time,so i was wondering if this was because of the fact i was away when the line tests were done.
im a bit peeved at the minute because the package i got was the gaming package for my xbox360.
any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
If you reboot your router for me, I suspect that you might be in for a nice surprise Smiley

A little sarcasm, may get somewhere (a laugh perhaps Cool )
That much may get you nowhere Roll_eyes
However, I wish he could wave his magic wand in a few other places Crazy
(pehaps I should rephrase that Undecided )

Re: the 10 day line tests

speeds seem to have dropped off again i was getting about 6mb for 24 hrs,in the last 24 hrs though i havent managed to get more than 1mb whats going on????although it does say in connection settings under high speed broadband that my current speed is 7150 Kbps running the broadband speed testers says otherwise.
thanks again.

Re: the 10 day line tests

Hmm.
there's no obvious reason for this.  Could you possibly try rebooting your router and seeing if you notice an improvement in your speeds?

Re: the 10 day line tests

Nope!
I couldn't see any reason why that would have been the case because your line was being profiled absolutely fine both by ourselves and BT.
Glad it's working now though Smiley
