? stuck bras profile

I normally only have 2mb connection however over a month ago my connection became unstable possibly due the demolition of old houses on the estate causing interference. This has now stabilised but I am stuck at 1mb despite having a reasonable sync speed for 2mb. When the connection became unstable my dslam vendor id also changed from Thomson MultiMedia Broadband to Infineon and since that change I have had 1mb permanently. 3 weeks ago I had a few  instances of 2 or so hours where I would get 2.3mb which does not fit with a bras profile for the sync speed I had of approx 2500kbps. I have been stuck at 1mb for approx 3 weeks now. My sync  speed is actually slightly higher since the change of dslam approx 2600 as opposed to 2300 before.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi there,
Quote
my dslam vendor id also changed from Thomson MultiMedia Broadband to Infineon

That caught my attention straight away, as I suspected it's because you've been moved from a 20cn (up to 8mb) to a 21cn (up to 20mb connection)
I'd suggest we reverse that for you. I just need to make you aware though that the process for that can take 5 working days and may involve some down time on the day the change is due to occur.
