Re: static ip host name

Have you recently requested a static IP. If so, this will have been used by someone else in the past (username ramprakash). When it is no longer required by another user (i.e. because they have left) the reverse DNS name is not always removed when it is put back into the free pool of static IPs Plusnet have.
Just raise a ticket asking for it to be changed to your name, or better still get it changed to your IP address which is more secure.

Re: static ip host name

Yes - If could possibly raise a ticket asking for your rDNs to be changed, we can get this done fairly easily for you.

Re: static ip host name

Thanks for letting us know, if you want it changing in future to something else (eg ip.plus.com) then let us know via ticket.
