Re: slow speed help please

It would appear that the system has increased your default noise margin to 9dB due to instability or excessive errors
Can you post the result of a BT speed test - further diagnostics - to find the IP profile which should be 3.62Mbps and the Plusnet current line speed https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed which should be 3.6Mbps

Re: slow speed help please

I need the IP profile from the BT Speed Test - Further diagnostics - just to confirm that the system is working as it should
But assuming the automatic system is working as it should it just needs the Plusnet profile bouncing up to match it at 3.6Mbps
Hopefully that will be picked up here and fixed otherwise you would need to raise a ticket

Re: slow speed help please

the test says This test was not conclusive and further testing is required. This might be useful for your Broadband Service Provider to investigate the fault.
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1.01 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 1.2 Mbps-4 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 3.58 Mbps
do i click on continue button ?Huh

Re: slow speed help please

No that is fine but I am surprised at the value - what is your present sync speed as it looks as though there has been a resync since your first post

Re: slow speed help please

It has had a resync so something is rather wrong unless you did it yourself
I have flagged this up for the staff to comment.
I would wait until they post and then you may need to raise a fault at http://faults.plus.net

Re: slow speed help please

Worryingly the downstream SNR hasn't changed - it's still set at 9 in spite of the change of speed. I guess you haven't made any changes to your internal wiring?
if not then definitely raise a fault as Jim suggests, if you include some BT speed test results in the comments section it'll help our faults team in their investigation.
