slow fiber since connection!

Hi,  I joined plus net on the 27/11 and had fiber installed.
To cut a long story short, the open reach "engineer" who was afraid of drilling and fixing cables to woodwork (his own words!!) Said my connection was all OK and tested it at a speed of 40 down 2 up.  To this I replied I should be getting 76/20 ?  They don't go that fast he said!
Anyway have raised a ticket 62783478 as speed test are giving figures of 35/1.9 so could someone please change my profile to what im paying for.....ta.

which package are you on, sounds like you're on value rather than extra?

Hi dvorak,  I should be on the extra 80/20, but have been given a 40/2 profile!  Have heard back from support and they have said the auto profile setting is wrong and they will manually change it on the 4th-5th.
I should then get the predicted 76 down as green boxes are only 10m from the house !!

PS. Didn't think much of the TG582n wireless router signal so have just connected an Asus rt-n66u ready for the 76mb!.......on the 40mb I'm getting 39mb tests on nexus 7  not sure what it will max out at though!

I've also upgraded to the same Asus router, it's brilliant.
