Not sure which gateway I was on so can't be sure if its the maintenance or not, but did it happen early? Just lost sync at 1pm and on reconnection my snr dropped from 6 to 3, or was my lost sync not related to that maintenance?

If you are on ADSL2+ that change in SNR margin makes it look like the DLM has changed your target noise margin from 6dB to 3dB which forces a re-sync. The emergency maintenance to pcl-ag08 should only drop the PPP connection to Plusnet, and not cause a re-sync.

Ok guess its a wait and see, as my connection seems stable with 3 SNR.  Time will tell if I have to get it back to 6 where it has been since January and mostly rock solid expect for stormy nights, as my router isn't the best and uncertain if it will work well with a SNR that low on a long line as my attenuation is 52.
