"Acquiring Network Address"

Hey, my broadband apparently went live today (plusnet sent me a text and an email)
Ive been trying to connect for about 2 hours now and it just keeps saying "acquiring network address" sometimes it comes up with "Not Connected" but then reverts straight back to A.N.A
ive tried re installing my external wireless adapter (linksys wireless - G) and using my old router,  but to no avail.
i have no clue what to do.
would be great if anyone could give me some advice!

I think your best approach would be to give the CSC a call on 0845 140 0200. They are open 24x7 and very experienced in getting users online. Are you able to use a wired connection to your router? Less to worry about whilst you get the router connected to Plusnet.
