This is due to old router not compatible with adsl 2+,,, now have new router

You might need a SNRM reset and / or a profile reset - it depends!
Note you are not likely to see a DCT presence on the forums before Tuesday. If the SNRM / synch speed are right for your line, you might well see the data profile change automatically before then. If however your line has been Andes then intervention will be required.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

Your line is not banded in any way and your current line speed is matching the BT Profile.
What sort of throughput are you seeing when you run speedtests?
Ideally we'd need them carrying out over a ethernet cable as well
Any further issues please let us know
