premium internet but 2mb/s speeds

I have done a number of speed tests on my connection and I am lucky to get over 2000 when I do it. Have a done something wrong as I thought I would get close to the line speed? My router says :

DownStream Connection Speed 13238 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 440 kbps
VPI 0
VCI 38

Phone exchange:

Current line speed:

So why is my connection so slow? Do I need to tick a box to move to ADSL2+?

just did another test at 10:45pm
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1301 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 1000-99999 Kbps.

You are already on ADSL2+,  connection speed would be no larger than 8128kbps if you weren't.
Both the IP profile shown by the BT speedtester, and Current line speed shown in the Member Centre are correct for your connection/sync speed.
The speed shown by the BT Tester could be wrong - perhaps just busy. What do you get from Plusnet's mybroadbandspeed tester http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk?

That's really not good.
Everything on your account seems fine, so I've asked one of our faults guru's to take a look and see what the line tests say. I'll come back once I have an update.

download speeds have improved over last couple of days but now when connected to the playstation network i keep getting disconnected, very frustrating
