Re: ppp up and down

Got the same thing in the East Sussex.
I am just so fed up with Broadband/21CN/ADSL2+/Plusnet at the moment I couldnt be bothered to report it. I have got used to being told there isnt a problem!

Re:ppp up and down

We had an issue yesterday which saw the loss of one of our 21c gateways.
I suspect that might be related to the problems you were seeing.

Re: ppp up and down

ASBO - Yup same thing happened to mine yesterday at the same time. I jumped up out of my chair and ran to the front of the house expecting to see a BT OpenReach Van with an engineer tampering with the connections on the pole as the last 2 occasions this has happened it been the engineer that caused the problem - but there was no van this time.
I suspect as James says it was the loss of the gateway.

Re: ppp up and down

Ah - that's comforting (in a way). I'm also in East Sussex (Brighton) and had the same problem yesterday morning. Had some problems in the evening, too, though PPP stayed up then - it was just that pages were taking forever to load or were not loading at all. OK again today.
