can anyone help. i want to forward my ports for xbox and bf3 . there in a list on my router in the games section. but when i choose them and press add they dont show up in the list . looks simple but i cant figure it out . it never saves my settings .i think you have to add the ip address where its going and i press save . but i cant tell if its worked or not . my old router you just plumed the numbers in and a list showed , can anyone help . thanks

Don't use a static IP address in the PS3, but do tick "always use the same IP address" in the routers network settings for the PS3.

thanks for speedy reply .. but under the home network section it says nothing even tho my xbox is connected via ethernet and swiched on ..just says no devices detected ... . my pc and phone show up in wireless there in red letters .. any ideas . thanks

sussed it you need to switch off upnp for it to work.. thankyou
