plusnet router getting very hot and buzzing like mad

anyone know why this is happening ?
will i get a new router from plusnet ?
also loosing wireless connection every 5mins

You could try putting your router somewhere a little cooler (window-ledge for example), but it sounds as though your router might be faulty, considering the alarming noises, overheating, and frequent drops. If you call plusnet up, they can take a look at your connection dropouts, do some tests with you, and possibly organise sending you a new router (under certain conditions). How long have you had your router?

There have been numerous threads about noisy, hot routers. In all the previous cases PN have sent a replacement & arranged for the return of the duff ones.
