Hi cartman,
I've just run some diagnostics on your line and we're now in the process of logging the fault with our suppliers. Please bear with us and I'll make sure you're updated.

While doing a 17070 line test i notice i can hear the adsl noise thru the phone changed filters and its still there turning off router the line becomes silent.
I didnt notice this before only upon rebooting the router while on the phone i could hear adsl syncing.

Hi cartman,
Are the router and the phone plugged through the same filter?

Re: perfect connection gone bad

HI cartman,

Your connections have been a bit flakey and this has caused the BT profile to drop to 250, but with a current sync rate of 6432 it should lift to 5500 if the line stays stable.
I take it the phone on the extension has a filter on it?

Re: perfect connection gone bad

Yes it does have a filter, I cant see my profile changing because its dropping to often now.
Tryed everthing i can. it must be an exchange fault.

Re: perfect connection gone bad

I had a stable connection for over a year at 18272Kb with IP profile of 16000, Last night there was an outage for a few hours and my profile dropped to 14000 on reconnection. can someone please bump this back up for me. Thanks

Re: perfect connection gone bad

HI Dev,
At the moment your sync rate is 16563 giving you the 14000. We can't manually bump it. The line will have to sync at 18176Kbps to get it back to 16000. Maybe try rebooting between 10am-2pm which could get the sync rate up.

Re: perfect connection gone bad

HI Dev,
When you do reboot do it through your router interface via the disconnect/connect button and this will ensure the DLM doesn't see it as a drop.

Re: perfect connection gone bad

My router stats are looking better today Smiley  but still can hear noise  Undecided
Will I hear from BT if they have looked at my line or will PN tell me first?Huh
