Dose my internet traffic get treated differently then unlimited package as I'm on the old 250gb a month?

Yes - there is less throttling on the new package

If anything I thought it would have been the other way around. So what your saying is I should change my pachage? This will not affect my gaming by changing to unlimited in a negative way?

pretty much, though changing package starts a new contract. moving to unlimited shouldn't effect your gaming at all..
