new customer but cant log-on

Am a new customer and wen i try and set up my internet am having major problems! i entered my router user name and password at da first part n that worked fine but then it asks for my username n password that my service provider has provided me with so i entered but it dosent accept jus says FAILED! do i use the same username n password that i log onto plus net member centre with?? plus help guys i need ma internet working

The username will be as shown against Login name on this page: https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=myconnection&?membermenu=connectionsettings
It's probably yourusername@plusdsl.net
