moved to PS from TT, will i get same speeds?

Just switched to PS, from talk talk, didn't like TT service, but I was getting 13.4mb  with the basic broadband, is there any reason I will get less with PS, been looking at some of the comments on here, people with 1mb, etc.

Welcome to the forum.

Your speed should not be significantly different. This is dependent on your distance from your telephone exchange. You should have been given your expected speed. If you want reassurance then put your telephone number in here. https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/adsl.htm?s_cid=ws_furls_adslchecker

HI

it is just saying "no data available for this number" when i do that, i wasn't given expected speed, just the 3mb guarantee.

The number won't work if it's with TT, it only works for BT numbers, however you should be able to use the address check to get a better idea of speed.

Hi @Rhetorik2018

ADSL Max is the old ADSL 1 technology, you should be put on the ADSL2+ technology if it is available in your area. The Talk Talk network still runs through the Openreach network, so you should receive similar speeds if you move over to ourselves.
