major problems

Hi all been on plusnet fibre since 20/8/13 and had nothing but problems, router keeps disconnecting  wifi is only 1mb however ethernet is 74.00, i bought the asus rt n66u straight away had wifi at 72mb now all of a sudden wifi keeps disconnecting and i only get 1mb wireless help really needed

is the dropouts just on wifi or do they also happen on if you wire your connection ?
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you
