internet keeps randomly cutting out. only just started today out of the blue

any reason for this? really annoying when you are gaming online. my pc is plugged directly into the modem. router is showing loss of internet connection when it happens.

yeah...i don't own a land line phone because 1995 wanted their technology back. maybe if absolutely nothing has changed on my end, then the problem might be on your end, or is that too much common sense.

Hello @hexa

Sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your broadband. I have tested your connection and its not highlighting an external fault, however this does not mean there isn't one.

I'd recommend starting with basic checks here: http://goo.gl/p2tpvL

And if that doesn't help the next thing would be to rule your internal wiring out by plugging the connection into your test socket which is under the faceplate of your master socket and seeing if the drops stop. This rules out internal wiring, face plates and extension sockets as being the cause. How to locate the test socket and set your connection into it can be found here:

If the problem still persists from here we will go down the route of raising a fault and getting an engineer out to investigate further.
