Considering the xDSL stats do not match the "Profile Info: 4M - 9M ..." details,= im confused m8
so has the standard downstream INP of 1, is that the interleaving ?
and they've set both the downstream and upstream target SNRM to 9 dB.are they fixing this through trial and error or are they guessing ?
thanx

I think we now need to await the promised response from @MatthewWheeler

@glesgajohn@Townman The only way we can proceed bar what's been done already is to arrange another visit and raise the escalation with BT. We can only do that once it's been booked.

Hi Guys me again !!!
engineer arrived @ 2.30 left @ 5.30pm, ( so he did put the work in ) he checked line when he arrived kept dropping whilst he was here,
he then checked all fittings in house, said all was ok. then he went to cabinet outside, said there was a fault showing from cabinet to exchange,said he had to swap me onto a new line in cabinet and said it then became stable , checked line from house again said it seems to be more stable, must give the engineer his due. he said he was going to find problem even if it took him all day .( was here for 3 hours )10 out of 10 for effort. So i will have to run it for 24 hours to see if it is stable . i ran a speed test and am getting, He did say i might have to get SNR reset done ,but to wait and see
thanx guys, let you know how it runs and if fault has been fixed .
DWNLD=9.14
UPSTRM=0.89
PING=40.50
and these are my router stats.

Although a DLM reset may make slight changes to the speed and latency of your connection, I wouldn't expect it to have any effect on your ability to watch YouTube, you already have sufficient bandwidth.
Perhaps you just happened to end up on a bad Plusnet gateway, and need to reconnect to get on a different one. If the problem persists, you could try the TBB speedtest and see if there's any substantial difference between the 1x and 6x results.

Hope all remains stable for you.
Thanks also to @MatthewWheeler for pushing this through for the right grade engineer.

i did not want to unplug router while on 10 day monitoring , but will post Townman
