interleaving

when i was checking my modem settings i noticed it was interleaved my question is what is interleaving and would it benifit me to get it turned off i cant turn it off from the modem so im asuming that pn has to be able to do this

Interleaving has to be turned off by PN (they put in an order with BT).
If you are an online gamer then having interleaving turned off can improve ping times which is good for gaming.
Interleaving is turned on by the exchange when there is instability on your line.

ok thanks as im not a gamer i dont think it would make any difference to me having it turned off as i have a stable line i dont want to mess with it
