i hate bt's profiling system from 2500kbps to 350kbps

why has bt mucked my profile up all i did was turn my router off connect my old sky digi box up to phone line to update its software.
re pluged cable back to router rebooted and now bt have profiled my line at 350kbps.
can plus net please please tell bt to change the way it profiles max adsl lines.
Now i have got to wait till my router will sync at it usally 3500 mark then wait 3 days min after that to get back to my profile again.
i surrpose if i rang bt customer service now i bet my sync profile will be back to normal before any one at bt answered my call haha.

forgot to add this. why has my line att gone to 63db where before it was 53db hum. (checks out front door nope house still where i left it)

Did you use a filter on the sky box?

yep. i have read alot about digi boxs messing with peoples sync rates so i was very careful when i connected the digi box up

Welcome to BT's overly complicated and flawed ADSL implementation 
I'm on LLU which has a fixed min SNR (9db) and NO IP PROFILES! to mess with.
The sync rate I get is the data rate I get, plain and simple, so why BT did not do it this way I have no idea.
