Re: help

No its not right but if you post your Plusnet current line speed from in your member centre
https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
and the BT IP Profiles it might give an indication of whether it is set wrong or if there is a fault
http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/
running further diagnostics

Re: help

Plusnet current line speed from in your member centre
Current line speed:
37 Mb

Speed est results from your link:
down: 7.58
up: 8.35
ping: 21.63
I spoke to plusnet and they said i have to wait three days, but this is totally unacceptable that to start off with the speed is really low. The adviser even said that the cooper wire from my house to the exchange is still there and this could affect speed. They are falsely advertising on their website stating that fiber is from house. Not happy

Re: help

First thing - the product advertised is FTTC - Fibre to the cab and from the cab to the house is copper - not FTTP (Fibre to the premises)
Are those speed test results wired or wireless
Can you please post the BT speedtest results - further diagnostic as requested
This explains it

Result of a BT speedtest http://speedtest.btwholesale.com - ignore the preamble and just tick Yes - then select diagnostic after it completes

Re: help

Are those tests wired or wireless
If wireless can you try the speed test wired
If wired you will need to raise a speed fault here http://faults.plus.net

Re: help

Also, what was the estimated speeds you was given before/when signing up as you may also be set on the wrong provisioning of 40/10 rather than 80/20 besides looking like a line fault.
