forum links not working

Has anyone noticed lnks in posts not working?
Click a link to a particular topic and it shows in address bar then reverts to "http://community.plus.net/forum/" only.
I've closed my browsers (Firefox and Safari) and restarted them but it's still the same on two different computers.
Ideas anyone.

Re: forum links not working

Well, im not too sure what would cause this.. sounds like error recovery in the forum itself.
Im ok from here running Windows Vista, Firefox & IE7, Virgin Media connection.
Seems ok from my PN side as well. Perhaps it was just a temporary issue.

Re: forum links not working

Hmmm... how odd... has anybody else had this problem, or are PN aware of anything which may have caused it?

Re: forum links not working

I haven't seen anything that would cause this, nor have I seen a similar problem.

Re: forum links not working

It seems to have gone away now but it was weird that it was happening on two computers with firefox and safari restarted twice to make sure. As mysteriously as it came it went. Huh
Main thing is it's working now but frustrating at the time trying to chase links to similar posts. Grin

It's doing it again Angry
Exactly the same problem on two computers, it's very frustrating at the moment too as I am trying to get to the bottom of the domain redirect and I can't follow links in posts Crazy

Re: forum links not working

This is the last one I tried http://portal.plus.net/central/forums/viewtopic.php?t=52576 but it happens on all I've tried for the last couple of days or so.

Re: forum links not working

How did you get that URL? It should start http://community.plus.net not http://portal.plus.net

Are you looking at posts in the archieve forums?

Re: forum links not working

Ah!
Was that link you gave the link in the post itself? I asked you to post a link to the post containing the link.
Edit: For example to make a link to this post you right click the « Reply #11 and copy the link which gives you http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,58802.msg511565.html#msg511565

Re: forum links not working

Aha!
Well spotted, so intent on following link I didn't see that it was an old link to the old forum. This is where I found it:-
