Hi Folks

 

Im afraid its still dropping out. I fiddled with the router settings and set it to 300mbps as it was on 150, and used my wi-fi scan facility on mac (if you hold down the option key and click on wi-fi icon it reveals itself) to get the best channel.

In that case I'm afraid there's not much further we can do.

Do you have any other devices that connect over Wi-Fi and do they have the same issue?

From what I can see your line seems to be dropping again as opposed to your WiFi signal.

Line tests aren't showing the cause of the problem. Would you be able to raise a fault to us at http://faults.plus.net letting us know over here once you've completed the troubleshooting steps it runs you through?

well, ive tried to register a fault, but on testing the phone via the website something went wrong, this might be due to the fact that my phone is ancient, it works on pulse not tone, ie analogue. So cant register a fault

As your connection is dropping it may be worth keeping an eye on this and let us know if the drops continue/your speeds remain slower than normal.
