they are trying to book an engineer visit, but at the moment i'm not sure when that will be possible due to having to book time off work to facilitate it.

is this due to interleaving being enabled?

not only is the upstream speed been dropped back down to 440Kbps, but now the connection is dropping even worse.
past hour and a half it has dropped about 6 times, and did the same last night as well.
at least before it only dropped a couple of times and i knew when it was going to happen, now it's even worse.
i updated my fault ticket this morning and have had no response.

what i last requested was for any changes that were done as part of the fault ticket to be reverted, as it has only made things worse (including dropping my upstream).

An SNR Reset was initiated to remove banding from your line, this will automatically be re-applied if your connection continues to drop out. The upstream has been capped temporarily whilst we get your lien stable and whilst the engineer comes out.
Once the engineer has been out and fault cleared, we'll get your line operating back to normal again.

As we have an engineer booked to come out, we'd like for the engineer to see and test the line with the banding removed. With banding on the line, the engineer may not see the full effects of the fault.

will check the event logs again this evening to see if there have been any drops thru the night.
i'm still waiting for my upload cap to be removed though.
i connection speed seems to have been set to a specific speed for both up and down at the moment.
